2. Criminals Pressurise Batman Into Marriage
The criminals of Gotham get so sick of Batman foiling their plans, they set up an ad-campaign to pressurise the Dark Knight into marriage, believing he can’t patrol the streets if he has a wife waiting for him at home. The crooks spend $1 million on fliers of Batman's face with the captain, "WANTED FOR MARRIAGE".
When the women in Gotham see these fliers, they go into a frenzy, trying to track down Batman so they can propose to him. As Batman and Robin are on patrol, they keep getting interrupted as dozens of women throw themselves at the Dynamic Duo. The crazed fan-girls wait around at Gotham's most dangerous spots since Batman is more likely to appear there.
Since the superheroes are distracted, the criminals that printed the fliers finally fulfil the last part of their plan; they steal fur coats!! Just to remind you, these crooks spent $1 million to get Batman out of the way so they could loot a bunch of clothes. Also, if they had that much money, why didn't they go on holiday or buy a condo or... stop committing crimes?
