10 Incoming Marvel NOW Comics You Won't Want To Miss
1. Ghost Rider: Felipe Smith & Danilo Beyruth
I have to be honest, Ghost Rider literally has no place on Agents of SHIELD. Why the Spirit of Vengeance didn't get a reservation on Netflix like his other brooding comrades is anyone's guess, but at least it's brought back Robbie Reyes to the mainstream.
For those unfamiliar with the latest bearer of the flaming skull, Reyes is a young Latinx American with caring responsibilities for his younger brother, Gabe, who's paraplegic. Upon repossessing a shiny black muscle car, his deceased uncle, Eli (who also happened to be a satanic murderer), bonds with Gabe to become a new Ghost Rider. Vigilante justice and internal conflicts of morality ensue, and, despite the fact it only lasted for a mere six issues, this was easily the best treatment the Rider had gotten for years.
As Smith himself put it, "It’ll be interesting to see how Robbie makes the best out of this hellish situation." (don't you just love puns?)
