In the Marvel Universe, Doctor Doom is primarily a villain of the Fantastic Four, but the ruler of Latveria set his sights on angering everyone else, so he's been a principal foe to the Silver Surfer, the Avengers, and everyone's Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
