10 Insane Alternative Versions Of The Fantastic Four You Won't Believe

Marvel Comics

Since its inception, the Fantastic Four has been a multidimensional, intergalactic team capable of handling the direst threats across the cosmos. They managed to repel Galactus' attempt to subsist on the Earth, and have been involved in numerous cosmic conflicts over the years. That's the "A" team.

The "B" team is a bit different. Known as the "FF," the team was assembled by the Fantastic Four as a precaution, should they succumb to any number of threats while on a mission across time and space. The members of the team are all well-intentioned, but they aren't capable of thwarting a cosmic-level threat.

That's not to say the team didn't include some heavy hitters — they just weren't on the same level as Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben. Scott Lang, otherwise known as Ant-Man, was the de-facto leader, and along for the ride was She-Hulk, Medusa, and Darla Deering, otherwise known as Miss Thing.

As a contingency team, they had to learn the best ways of protecting the planet while on the job. They may have been a freshman team, but they ended up handling themselves rather well, and it was a fun series to read even if the roster was a bit wonky.
