It's no secret that, at the height of their creativity, Jack Kirby and Stan Lee were literally picking words out of a dictionary to make their characters. This led to some legitimate success stories, but it also led to some truly boring and stupid characters. The Living Eraser is one of the latter.

Hailing from Dimension Z, the Living Eraser was sent to Earth by the sovereign Supremacy. Because while he had inter-dimensional technology, proving the existence of a multi-verse and re-framing the context for all life, the Supremacy didn't have nuclear bombs.

The Living Eraser was tasked with kidnapping a number of scientists, including Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, to help build nukes. Needless to say, this did not end well. He then got one more appearance where he was beaten by the odd pair of Morbius and the Thing and was executed off-page.

But even though he had a stupid look, a dumb story, and just the lamest name ever written, he actually had particularly powerful abilities. Using his "Dimensionizer," the Living Eraser could wave his hand through living beings, wiping them out of one dimension and sending them to another, making it look like he'd "erased" them from existence. Not only is any reality-bending technology extremely impressive, but the sheer terror his ability caused those who witnessed his attack could not be denied.
