There are few writers that actually pull off great Hulk stories. Recently, Al Ewing has been doing an incredible job with The Immortal Hulk, but even that is about to come to an end. Some fans are hoping that, with Ewing's departure, it could open up the character once again to Greg Pak.

Pak is responsible for two of the biggest and best Hulk stories, Planet Hulk and its follow up event, World War Hulk.

Planet Hulk quickly became a fan favourite story, spawning the phenomenal animated movie of the same name, as well as serving as inspiration for Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok.

After being banished from Earth by the Illuminati, watching his pregnant wife die as his space craft explodes and having just spent an extended amount of time on the highly radioactive Sakaar, there was little chance the green giant would go easy as he returned to his home planet.

Hulk and his new squad laid waste Black Bolt and his moon base, before heading to New York to take down the rest of the Illuminati.

He is eventually brought down by a series of weaponised Stark satellites, but not before the Hulk brings destruction on an epic scale.
