Spider-Bite was a young boy named Nathan, and he wanted nothing more in the world than to become Spider-Man's sidekick. Sadly, he was diagnosed with cancer, and because his wish was to fight crime alongside his hero, the hospital reached out the Spider-Man to set up a visit.

Spider-Man agreed to meet the young man, and after arriving at the hospital, they began to play. The two ended up playing for the whole day, and it started off as they imagined they were fighting against the "Sinister Sixty," which was filled with all of Spider-Man's greatest villains.

Once they managed to beat the snot our of those thugs, they went after the guy who was calling the shots, "Stilt-Man," and they beat him up as well. Their imagined crimefighting was working to lift Nathan's spirits, but his parents interrupted to inform the superhero that the boy had to go to sleep.

Nathan wasn't interested in sleeping, as he was afraid he wouldn't wake up again. At this time, Spider-Man decided to take Nathan on a trip swinging around the city, fulfilling his dream, and letting him become his sidekick, who was named "Spider-Bite."

Spider-Bite only appeared in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Vol. 2 #6, and his fate following his time as Spider-Man's sidekick remains unknown.
