10 Superheroes Who Have Committed Murder

Batman Kills A Man
Marvel Comics

For over two centuries, Wolverine has killed an untold amount of terrorists, clones, mad scientists, and mutant-haters. Nevertheless, his bloody history is more depressing that you could imagine.

When his bone claws activated as a child, he accidentally killed his father. Before he got the chance to control his powers, he unintentionally popped his claw, impaling Rose - the first girl he ever loved. When his wife, Mariko, was exposed to an agonising poison, Wolverine stabbed her, to end her suffering.

After Jean Grey was consumed by the Phoenix Force, Wolverine was forced to put her down. Since Jean Grey has a habit of resurrecting herself, Logan has killed her multiple times (frankly, once is too many).

When his son, Daken, was convinced that Wolverine abandoned him, he dedicated his life to ruining his father's life. Realising that Daken couldn't see that he was being manipulated, Wolverine had no choice but to drown him to death.

Is there anything worse than putting down your own child? For Wolverine, the answer is yes.

He battled a group called The Red Right Hand who promised to hurt Wolverine in a way he has never been hurt before. As he killed the group's soldiers, the leader unveiled the truth: all the opponents that Wolverine had killed… were his children. Wolverine had slept with many women over the century and had no idea how many had fallen pregnant. The Red Right Hand tracked down every one of his kids and raised them as terrorists whose sole purpose was to kill Wolverine, unaware that he was their father.

This means that Wolverine has killed his father, his wife, his first love, his true love, and his own children. He might be the only superhero who has ever done this.
