10 Times Batman Got It Wrong
1. Brother Eye
This is by far and away the most dire mistake our Dark Knight has ever made: allowing his mistrust of his fellow crime-fighting compatriots to get the better of him. Creating a satellite capable of tracking the movements, whereabouts and weaknesses of all meta-humans, allies and enemies alike, Batman releases the semi-autonomous Brother MK I into orbit.
Had Batman been willing to hear Blue Beetle out he might have realised that his spy-cam plan had become compromised, and perhaps would have gotten out ahead of what became a colossal mistake. During “Countdown to Infinite Crisis Maxwell Lord successfully hacks into Brother MK I, and convinces it of the dangers of meta-humans. The satellite attacks, creating OMACs and sending them after the superhumans. When Lord is rather brutally put down by Wonder Woman, the newly self-proclaimed Brother Eye broadcasts the murder, and directs its remaining OMACs to attack the Amazonian home-land.
Alexander Luthor Jr then bestows true artificial intelligence onto Brother Eye with the aim of recreating the multiverse, and for a worrying long time it seemed to be working. Eventually, the heroes win, defeating the interlopers and destroying Brother Eye, and freeing all those who had been assimilated.
But it's surreal to think that Bruce could have merely discussed his concerns and had the League go to group therapy, instead of training a great big eye in the sky on them 24-hours a day.
