12 Comic Book Heroes More Powerful Than Superman
9. Firestorm
DC's Firestorm might not be the most well-known of superheroes on this list, but he's definitely one of the most intriguing. His power base is already pretty broad without mentioning his most infamous ability - he can fly at incredible speed, can phase through objects, generate nuclear fusion blasts from his hands and can absorb radiation. He's also superstrong and superhumanly resistant to injury, and that's before you consider that one special power.
Firestorm can rearrange the atomic and subatomic structure of inorganic matter, to create objects of different atomic characteristics of equal mass. In other words, he could turn literally anything into Kryptonite to use against Superman. He can also use the same powers on himself, regenerating lost and damaged tissue, boosting his immune system, shapeshifting and most importantly increasing his physical capabilities and ability to endure without food and water indefinitely.
In other words, he's basically invincible and he comes packing the ability to be a Kryptonite vending machine...
