8. Hawkeye Takes A Few Days Off (Hawkeye #6 "Six Days In The Life Of")

Matt Fraction and David Aja's brilliant Hawkeye comic, which started in 2012 and is still going strong, has been brilliant from the beginning. The comic tells the story of the legendary superhero during his time when he isn't being an Avenger. Clint Barton becomes a landlord and a pet owner, but in the process makes some deadly enemies and has to try to balance relationships with friendships between a host of sexy and formidable females. There have been so many good, and indeed great, moments in this run that it was genuinely the case that this entire top twenty could have been filled with them. But, as with so many other great moments from last year, we simply couldn't fit them all in and have been limited to only a couple - but, seriously, read this comic. The moment in question here comes from issue six, which was subtitled "Six Days In The Life Of" and sees a humorous interaction between Hawkeye, Wolverine and Spider-Man. Wolverine is talking about the season finale of a show called "Dog Cops" with Spider-Man, and Hawkeye doesn't want to know what happens, so he puts his fingers in his ears and abruptly heads home to watch the show through the new year period. Spider-Man then pops up with "Happy Hannukah" and a cheeky wave in what is a very charming little scene.
