5 Reasons To Take Ant-Man Seriously

5. Infinite Arsenal

People often forget that the source of Ant-Man's powers is a chemical known as 'Pym Particles', which can shrink ANYTHING, not just Ant-Man himself. As a result of this, Ant-Man often carries a number of useful items with him inside a device called a toolbot, shrinking them to microscopic size so that he can keep them close at all times. The amount that Batman holds in his utility belt may seem unrealistic, but Ant-Man can hold ten times more equipment than that without even noticing the weight. In the comics, Ant-Man has used the toolbot to store items such as a key, a minicomputer and even a freaking energy sword which are all readily accessible for any given situation. That's pretty impressive, but there's certainly scope to be even more imaginative with this ability, both within the comics and the movie. Imagine the possibilities... This infinite arsenal could contain literally anything the writers can come up with. A sledgehammer, a machine gun, even a nuclear bomb could be carried safely within the toolbot. Sure, it sounds risky, but you never know when a WMD may come in handy. Bet you'd think twice before facing a miniature superhero with a weapon of mass destruction hidden in his pocket...
