And now we have Sasquatch Sunset - an absurdist fantasy drama starring Jesse Eisenberg and Riley Keough as members of a sasquatch family living out their lives in the Californian wilderness.

Though it had some critical dissent, reviewers were largely positive about the bold, wordless execution of a film in which name actors spend the entire movie grunting while concealed underneath impressive, even genuinely Oscar-worthy bigfoot makeup.

But the audience score was a conversely brutal 31%, with many commenters online calling the film boring and criticising its pacing.

Unsurprisingly the trailers mostly presented Sasquatch Sunset as a poignant, feel-good dramedy peppered with broad-skewing humour, but in reality it's a far more melancholic movie than that, which may have caught some viewers off-guard in a bad way.

And then, of course, there are those who simply struggled with the slow moving, sans-dialogue approach. As such, it's little surprise that the film barely grossed $1 million at the global box office.
