10 Actors Whose Credibility Has Suffered The Most In 2017 (So Far)

2. Naomi Watts

You have to feel bad for Naomi Watts, an immensely talented actress who can't seem to find her way into a good movie no matter what. Last year audiences were "treated" to the likes of Divergent: Allegiant, followed by the awful thriller Shut In, which resulted in a Razzie nomination - and now there's The Book of Henry.

The Book of Henry, in case you're yet to read the reviews, has been lambasted as one of the worst motion picture experiences of recent times, garnering just 23% on Rotten Tomatoes. It's a flick critic Peter Bradshaw said that "in its pure misjudged ickiness, bad-acting ropiness, and its quirksy, smirksy passive-aggressive tweeness, this insidiously terrible film could hardly get any more skin-crawling."

Watts awkwardly plays an arbitrary mom character in The Book of Henry and is saddled with material she isn't given the chance to elevate. It's yet another ill-judged turn that suggests the actress seriously needs to think about firing her agent, given that this movie marks her seventh critical/box office failure in a row.

Watts is on the verge of establishing herself as an omen of cinematic death: if you see her name on the poster, the movie is almost certainly going to suck.
