Blumhouse Productions is best known for producing some of the greatest horror films of the modern era. Smash hits like Paranormal Activity, Get Out and The Invisible Man have cemented them as the leading light of the genre in a time where horror cinema can be prone to underwhelming offerings. But not everything they put out can be a classic. In fact, some of it can be downright awful. It’s not just Jim Parsons who wants us to forget this car crash. It’s likely that all of Blumhouse wants it erased from the public memory too.

Isla Fisher stars as a woman who believes she’s being haunted by ghosts, only to realise that these are visions of the future. Parsons is her supportive OB/GYN Dr. Mathison who also attends her intervention later, for some reason.

The first half is slow enough to make you fall asleep and the rest is too fast to make sense of anything that’s going on. There’s a reason why they sent this one straight to video.
