10 Films That Dominated CinemaCon
3. Glass
M. Night Shyamalan took to the stage alongside stars Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, James MacAvoy, and Sarah Paulson to debut a trailer for Glass. The film is a culmination of Shyamalan's former film, Split, and one of his most beloved and underrated classics, Unbreakable.
The footage featured Sarah Paulson as a therapist who specializes in catering to patients who believes they have super powers. It appears to start with all three of the main characters being held in an asylum, only for MacAvoy and Jackson's characters to team up and break out together, causing mass hysteria.
The audience was incredibly receptive to the trailer, with it generating one of the loudest applauses of the entire convention. Jackson then went a step further, to make sure everyone understood just how prominent his character is in the film, saying;
“It’s about the time I get the title role in my motherf*cking movie!”
