10 Hilariously Recut Trailers That Completely Change The Movie

5. Mrs Doubtfire - Horror Movie

The late, great comedian Robin Williams proved he was more than capable of playing a villain in Christopher Nolan's remake of Insomnia and the thriller One Hour Photo, but his intention in Mrs Doubtfire was clearly to make people laugh. If you think about the premise for Mrs Doubtfire for a few moments it's not hard to view it as a pretty creepy movie - it's essentially about a man who dresses up in drag so he can stalk his estranged family. This is precisely the angle the recut trailer goes for, taking the line "I'll do anything for my kids" and turning them into the words of a sociopath. The sequence of shots depicting Williams putting on his Mrs Doubtfire costume, with sinister close-ups of false teeth and contact lenses, captures the atmosphere of a serial killer getting ready to hunt down his victims perfectly. This is one old lady you definitely would want to look after your kids. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ckv_Dz-Sio
