10 Movie Scenes That Would Never Have Been Shot Today

Revenge Porn is a recent trend, one that has brought on lawsuits, inspired episodes of Law and Order: SVU and shown just how truly awful people can be toward one another, but the lesson is the same; don't film it. No matter what you're doing, the internet is forever and you're probably better off living off-grid than ever saying so much as hello to a stranger (or, you know, go on a racist rant - then you're either a youtube sensation or president).

The story is that brothers Chris and Paul Weitz produced and directed American Pie, knowing it would be a hit with young audiences, so they could acquire the rights to Nick Hornby's novel About A Boy, their next (and far better) film. But even in the haste of piecing together easy laughs out of a simple premise - a bet to lose one's virginity before graduation - can easily be problematic.

Recently, both stars Shannon Elizabeth and Jason Biggs have spoken of the infamous scene, wherein Biggs' character livestreams Elizabeth's foreign exchange student strip dance for his friends as proof-positive he was about to win the bet. "It just wouldn't happen today," said Biggs.

But 1999 was over 20 years ago, and webcams were fairly earth-shattering. Hell, we were barely off dial-up internet.

Worse, still, is that Elizabeth is punished for the video, sent back to her homeland, while Biggs' character is regarded as decent because he prematurely ejaculates.
