10 Reasons Star Wars: Rogue One Will Be 2016's Highest Grossing Movie

2. Boba Fett Will Make An Appearance

A recent toy fair in Nuremberg dropped a potentially huge Rogue One spoiler: a Lego set tie-in for the film included an image of Slave I, the iconic ride of the intergalactic bounty hunter Boba Fett. Fett is one of Star Wars€™ most enduring and popular characters; the space mercenary has enjoyed a strong cult following since he debuted in the televised abortion The Star Wars Holiday Special, becoming the fan favourite character out of a series defined by fan favourites. Even though Fett€™s cool design and badass attitude made him a fan darling, everybody€™s favorite bounty hunter has gotten short shrift in the movies themselves: He had barely more than a cameo in The Empire Strikes Back and received an undignified, jokey death in Return Of The Jedi; in the prequels, he was a young kid who didn€™t do much beside watch his dad get beheaded. Rogue One can correct this error by showing Fett in full ass-kicking, bounty hunter mode. And, of course, putting him front and centre in the marketing could also cause long-time fans to get nostalgic, something that made The Force Awakens€™ box office drawing power so potent.
