10 Recent Movie Deaths NOBODY Saw Coming

While it was reasonable to assume that Weapons' terrifying witch antagonist Gladys (an incredible Amy Madigan) would die at the end, did anybody see it happening like this?

Gladys is the aunt of Alex (Cary Christopher), the only child from Justine's (Julia Garner) class who didn't disappear, and who cast a spell to draw Alex's classmates to his house, where she can feed off their life force.

During the climax, Alex gives Gladys a taste of her own medicine, using a strand of her hair to copy her spell, in turn compelling the kidnapped children to chase her down with murderous intent.

Following a darkly hilarious sequence where the children make a determined bee-line to a terrified Gladys, they take her to the ground and rip her apart, in turn freeing all of her victims from her control.

However you expected Weapons to end, a witch being torn asunder by a gang of weaponised children in broad daylight probably wasn't it, right?
