2. General Ross Becomes Red Hulk
Multiple outlets have reported that General "Thunderbolt" Ross is going to transform into Red Hulk in the not too distant future, and while it's unclear when that will happen, it's definitely something fans should be excited about. For starters, it points to the return of a familiar face from the past.
In The Incredible Hulk, we were introduced to Samuel Sterns, a character who goes on to become The Leader. In the comic books, Ross enlists the villain to transform him into Red Hulk so he can put an end to the Jade Giant once and for all. With Mark Ruffalo confirmed to be in talks for an appearance in Disney+'s She-Hulk, it seems likely that the emergence of these new Hulks will happen there.
The second half of this particular rumour claims that Red Hulk will later assemble the Thunderbolts, a group of anti-heroes/villains who have been portrayed in a number of ways in the source material.
Sometimes, they're posing as heroes, while other iterations have essentially been used as Marvel's version of the Suicide Squad. Either way, there are clearly big plans for Red Hulk and this group.
