3. Everything About Fant4stic

Reboots can be a tricky idea to navigate, and pulling one off can be incredibly difficult. These can either be reacted to very well, like with Tom Holland's Spider-Man coming into the MCU, or they can be absolutely hated, like David Harbour's Hellboy.

With critics and audiences scoring it just 9% and 18% respectively on Rotten Tomatoes, a global box office gross of just 167 million dollars against a reported 200 million dollar budget, and even the director himself slating the movie, it's fair to say that Fant4stic falls into the latter of these two categories.

With Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell involved, the casting wasn't a problem, it was just everything else. The movie was bland, dark and dreary, and honestly down right boring. Josh Trank has claimed that he would have had more success had he been allowed by the studio to make the Fantastic Four movie he actually wanted to make, which achieved nothing but highlighting the problems behinds the scenes of production.

However, since the pre-planned sequel was quickly scrapped, and with the rights going to Marvel Studios, as far away from Trank and Fox as possible, we'll never know. There aren't many people who look back at this film and not wish it hadn't happened.
