12 Disney Films & TV Shows Coming 2021 & Beyond

7. Raya And The Last Dragon Coming To Disney+

Following in the footsteps of the live-action Mulan remake, Raya And The Last Dragon will premiere directly on Disney+, with premiere access. This means that subscribers will have to pay an extra fee for access to the film.

The titular Raya will be voiced by Star Wars' Kellie Marie Tran, with The Last Dragon being voiced by Awkwafina. The move to a streaming premiere is similar to the announcement by WarnerMedia that all of their properties will debut on HBO Max at the same time as theaters. The difference between the two is that WarnerMedia will not be charging extra.

The news of premium fees was met with mixed receptions when Mulan debuted. This is of course due to the cinema closures due to that thing you know we're talking about!

It is set to debut on 5th March 2021.
