5. Flirting/Picking Someone Up

There is this thing that characters in movies and TV shows have that regular people don't. It is called a script. From this script, they have a plethora of well thought out phrases that would attract even the most skeptical of bar patrons. In real life, it is incredibly difficult to successfully pick someone up. It is laughable, most of the time. Whether it is that people aren't as open to getting picked up as they are in movies or that people are more open than characters on television shows, one thing is clear: it is getting harder and harder to successfully meet people and keep them interested for longer than a one night stand.
4. Finding Those Perfect Restaurants

For me, it's pizza. Finding the perfect pizza place has proven time and time again to be a problem here in Houston. Coming from NJ, though, even the best pizza TX has to offer would be nothing compared to the pizza up north, but I digress. In every TV show or movie, there is always that "great place that no one knows about" that someone wants to take someone to and they have the best whatever they've ever had. It is so hard to find places like that! You can't just walk into any hole in the wall and find something so delectable it warrants taking everyone you know there, especially in a crowded place over run with hole in the wall restaurants, such as Manhattan. It would take years, I think, to go through them all before finding that perfect restaurant that is cheap, but also tasty. Take out, however, will never go out of style.
