It's no secret that The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a loving homage to classic kitsch sci-fi and horror B-movies, particularly those produced by the iconic Hammer Horror label.

And so it's fitting that the film actually re-uses both actual props and locations featured in classic Hammer films.

The tank and dummy used for Rocky Horror's birth sequence, for instance, were repurposed from 1958's Hammer hit The Revenge of Frankenstein.

But the most prominent homage is actually Oakley Court itself, which became Dr. Frank-N-Furter's castle and was featured in a number of Hammer movies such as The Man in Black, The Lady Craved Excitement, The Brides of Dracula, The Reptile, and The Plague of the Zombies.
