20 Worst Movies Of 2018
15. Father Of The Year

Isn't it about time David Spade just stopped? Friend of Adam Sandler and painfully unfunny for pretty much the majority of his career after Chris Farley's tragic death, the diminutive actor has squeezed a living out of bottom-of-the-barrel "comedies" for years now.
He gets credit for the delightful Emperor's New Groove, but it feels like decades since that was released (it is) and the longer he keeps releasing garbage like Father Of The Year, the more distant it'll seem.
Spade's comedy now makes Adam Sandler's worst work look like the genius of Charlie Chaplin. This laughless mess is about as bad as it's got from him and unfortunately, there's no sign of his form stopping him getting work. Particularly as the Netflix model seems to protect this sort of comedy twoddle from diminished audiences.
