Batman V Superman: 9 Things Nobody Predicted

5. The Death Of Mercy Graves

When it was revealed that The Wolverine€™s Tao Okamoto was to play Batman v Superman€™s Mercy Graves, many presumed that she€™d be around for the long run or at least for future Lex Luthor appearances.

Whilst Jesse Eisenberg€™s Lex is still alive and well, unfortunately Mercy wasn€™t as lucky. We all presumed that Mercy €“ a character so often seen as Luthor€™s right hand (wo)man and his protector €“ would be firmly at the side of Lex for the foreseeable future. Instead, she was merely used as collateral damage during the court room explosion of Scott McNairy€™s Wallace Keefe.

Poor Mercy barely made it to the halfway point of Batman v Superman, which is something nobody predicted. Given how poorly the film has been received so far, maybe the character was one of the lucky ones.
