Every James Bond Girl Ranked From Worst To Best
40. Pola Ivanova - A View To A Kill
A minor character in A View to a Kill, Pola Ivanova (Fiona Fullerton) is a KGB agent who is spying on main villain Max Zorin, as well as a past lover of Bond's. She tries to steal a tape incriminating Zorin from Bond while they are catching up and enjoying a romantic time at a sauna, but Bond replaces it with a tape of classical Japanese music and embarrasses her in front of her superior, General Gogol (Walter Gotell).
She does affect the plot a bit (hence her inclusion on this list) but she was still a redundant and irritating character whose sub-plot in the film was totally pointless.
Did we need to see Roger Moore, who was 57 at the time of filming, seducing another woman played by someone who was literally less than half his age? Did we need to see yet another cringe-worthy, innuendo-ridden love session?
That's a resounding "No".
