3. Lando

Thanks to a combination of the marketing making the most of his character, and Donald Glover's own considerable talent and popularity, Lando was the character most people seemed to be looking forward to the most - and luckily, he doesn't really disappoint.

Admittedly he's not in the movie as much as the trailers might've suggested, and he sits out a couple of the big beats, but Glover is never anything less than a captivating, smooth talking, walking ball of charisma in at least one cape.

Glover brilliantly mixes his own charms with some moments that are pure Billy Dee Williams, and already he really does feel exactly like a young version of Lando from the minute we're introduced to him here.
