Sylvester Stallone's 15 Biggest Movies - Ranked Worst To Best

10. Antz (1998)

Another one that you'd be forgiven for forgetting Stallone was part of - and also a reunion with his The Specialist co-star Sharon Stone. However, Antz is best remembered for being the first computer-animated movie produced by Dreamworks, released in direct (and somewhat bitter) competition with Pixar's similarly-themed A Bug's Life. Coming in the wake of Toy Story, Antz was the second ever 100% computer animated feature film, and clearly hoped to ape the success of Pixar's breakthrough with a similar blend of adult-oriented humour with family-friendly animated spectacle. Commercially the film achieved similar success ($171.8 million worldwide, making it Stallone's 10th biggest hit), but in all other aspects it's really not in the same league. Still, Antz is enjoyable enough, and Sly gets to poke fun at his persona as the voice of musclebound, dim-witted soldier ant Weaver. It's also notable for allowing Stallone to share scenes with Woody Allen, reuniting decades after Sly's bit-part in Bananas.
