9. Arnold's Presence Should Be Toned Down

Terminator 3 Rumours persist that while Arnold Schwarzenegger will be 100% returning for Terminator 5, it might not be as a cyborg character. The suggestion is that the plot may be set in the 1940s and 1950s, focusing on Sarah Connor's parents, with Arnie playing a human who helps to protect them, and Skynet, out of bizarre admiration for his fighting style, fashions the Terminator in his image. This would be a novel way to do away with the suggestion, quite rightly, that Arnie is just too damn old to be playing a Terminator now - grey-haired and all - because if he is playing a human, he's allowed to be old - it won't matter. However, for the sixth and seventh films, which would presumably dive back into the future, it's best limiting Arnold's appearances to intermittent ones, and letting another action hero do all the heavy lifting. If rumour is to be believed, that just might be what's happening...
