They Know will star Hader as a father who grows increasingly suspicious that a man dating his ex-wife (Linda Cardellini) is exerting a peculiar influence on their daughters.
Cardellini, who has enjoyed quite a career resurgence in recent years with her acclaimed, Emmy-nominated work on Netflix's Dead to Me, seems like a perfect fit to play the bewildered ex caught in the middle of something horrific.
