5. Nintendo Is Overrated
Nintendo has been kicking around for a long time and for good reason. They have helped build the gaming industry into what it is today. They have developed so many beloved, groundbreaking titles and have shaped the world of gaming for the better. But are they as good as people make them out to be? Simply put, no.
They've created many great games in the past and have pushed the boat out in the name of innovation. However, these days, they are just another developer. They are just like Sony and Microsoft. They may be the only big company that is willing to make mistakes, but they aren't worth the hype they garner.
It always comes down to personal opinion, but the cult-like appreciation they get is quite overblown. They deserve respect for what they have done, but feverishly defending their every move, even when they make mistakes, is not justified.
They aren't infallible gods who milk the nectar of deities and package it up in cheap video game cases.
