7. He Fell Asleep Next To A Cargo Crate - Lester The Unlikely
It's easy to rag on Lester. He's the stereotypical nerd in how he looks, and also how he acts. But I'd argue that the reason Lester is on the island in the first place is the worst bit about the character.
During the introduction that takes a decade to play out, we see Lester walking across a pier with a comic book in hand. He soon becomes a little sleepy and decides that the best place to sleep, on the coast, is next to a cargo crate that's about to be loaded onto a ship.
Bonus fact: as soon as Lester is kissed by one of the native girls, he gains confidence! Suddenly he no longer shivers at the thought of jumping from a ledge or seeing an enemy for the first time.
When he eventually saves the tribe from pirates and makes it back to civilisation, Lester is seen telling his story to two very sceptical girls, who don't seem to believe him. I'm pretty sure he lied to them about how he became stranded on the island in the first place..
