10 MORE Best Pokémon You Never Bothered Catching
8. Runerigus
You probably didn't bother evolving Galarian Yamask because you didn't know how to evolve it.
In order to evolve Galarian Yamask, you need to ensure it has taken 49 damage or more during a battle. Once that is done, head to the Dusty Bowl in the Wild Area and walk under the stone arch. You'll know when it's evolving as you'll lose control of your character.
Runerigus is a bit of a strange Pokémon. It's a ground and ghost type that has a great amount of bulkiness. Its main use in competitive battles is to set up hazards.
Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes can threaten your opponent should they decide to switch Pokémon, but it can also use Will-O-Wisp to severely hamper their attack and Earthquake as a decent physical attacking move.
Earthquake can also be a good way of getting rid of a pesky ability. Wandering Spirit allows Runerigus to swap its ability with that of your opponent, so if you're able to make them faint, you'll steal their ability for the rest of the match.
