10 Most Useless Character Customisations Found In A Video Game
2. Far Cry 5
There's no way to be polite about this - Far Cry 5's character creation suite is trash.
The hilariously barebones customisation menu allows players to pick one of just eight faces, and despite literally dozens of available hairstyles, there's no ability at all to grow a freaking beard.
Upper and lower body clothing options are meanwhile limited to a few unimaginative pieces of wardrobe each, and accessories only extend to four hats and five pairs of gloves.
Though you can ultimately unlock more clothes and items by buying them in-game or completing missions, it's a painfully lousy opening assortment of options for players, which proves especially disappointing given that this was the first game in the series not to have a fixed protagonist.
Then again, perhaps the fact that you barely catch sight of your character in the campaign - with the game being an FPS and all - rather explains why Ubisoft couldn't be bothered to devote many resources to it.
