4. Umbra - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is full of glitches and bugs. Some are hilarious, some are useful, but the one most Oblivion fans would agree is best allows you to get your hands on the most powerful sword in the game a few minutes after you escape your prison cell.
Called Umbra, the weapon in question is connected to one of the Deadric quests that you're supposed to complete at a higher level. However, the bearer of the sword, also named Umbra, hides in a crypt that's only a few feet away from the starting location.
If you manage to get your hands on a bow and some arrows, then find a safe vantage point in Umbra's hideout to shoot her from, you can defeat her despite her high level and claim her sword for yourself.
Umbra has one of the best damage outputs of all blades in Oblivion and comes with a whole range of enchantments, meaning that if you get it early on, you'll be able to crush anyone who comes your way!
