10 Talented Voice Actors You'll Find In All Your Favourite Video Games

6. Jennifer Hale - Metal Gear Solid, Bioshock Infinite, Mortal Kombat, Elder Scrolls Online

I don’t think it’s unfair to say that Jennifer Hale has one of the most attractive voices in video game history. You only need to listen to her as the Knights of the Old Republic Jedi come love interest Bastilla Shan to know what I mean – that voice! That accent! She could’ve retired there and then but no; she’s continued a lot longer than that.

Entering video game voice overs way back in 1994, Hale’s first credited role was Katrina in Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness (nope, me either) and, over the last 22 years, she’s appeared in some truly massive, legendary games without anywhere near as much public appreciation as she deserves.

Hale has had starring roles as Naomi Hunter (MGS), Galadriel/Lobelia etc (Lord of the Rings), Rogue (X-Men: Next Dimension), Samus Aran (Metroid Prime), Jaden Korr (Jedi Academy), Bastilla Shan (KOTOR), Trinity (Path of Neo), Silver Sable (Spider-Man), Aayla Secura (Republic Heroes), Commander Shepherd (Mass Effect 2), Leah (Diablo III), Sarah Palmer (Halo 4), Rosalind (Bioshock Infinite), Lyris (Elder Scrolls Online) and Tanya (Mortal Kombat X).

That’s one hell of a list and it amounts to roughly a tenth of her work – and I thought I’d had a busy run since 1994…
