10 Times Doctor Who Appeared In Video Games
7. The TARDIS - Fallout
Being a series laden with sci-fi references and easter eggs, its no surprise that one of science fiction's most iconic spacefaring ships appears in Fallout. If players weren't familiar with Doctor Who, though, they might find the appearance of a random police box in the Wasteland a little bit confusing.
One of the rare encounters, a wandering Vault Dweller might just randomly come across the TARDIS in the post-apocalyptic landscape of Southern California. It would be out of place normally as is, but TARDIS blue stands out against the scarred brown landscape particularly well in post-apocalyptic America.
Examining the blue box helpfully informs the viewer that it's a police box from the UK, circa 1960s. Unfortunately, though, that's as far as the crossover goes. Attempting to approach the TARDIS presumably sends the Doctor into a panic, as getting closer to it causes the TARDIS to dematerialise right before your very eyes.
There's no clues as to who's piloting this TARDIS, and it also doesn't sounds like it should, presumably due to some licensing or copyright disagreements. It also practically inspired the fan-made "Who Vegas", which puts New Vegas' Courier at the control panels of their very own time travelling police box.
