6. HoboWars

The free online game HoboWars was developed by the Australian company Hell Bored Entertainment. It's an MMORPG where players can jump in, start fights with other hobos and play as them, all in the name of having a bit of fun.

The game is full of parody-esque commands, such as the ability to create food from unpalatable ingredients, like bottles of lye. The hobos are effectively unkillable, in that a quick trip to the hospital will cure almost any ailment they face. Their backpacks are as deep as a TARDIS and alcohol gives each of them special powers.

Some of them have a tendency to ramble on. There is one old character in the game who likes to tell stories. One such story is about how he, along with his friends, managed to save their captain from the Borg. That's right - the hobo recounts a topline plot of The Best of Both Worlds, passing the events off as their own history. This, in addition to many other television episodes that the character will recount if given the chance, is one of the fun easter eggs in HoboWars.
