10 Times Video Games Ripped You Off

8. DLC Ending - Asura's Wrath

Cod Points - Micro Transatcions
Capcom

Asura's Wrath is a game that's really hard to hate - no matter how hard it tries to make you. While I cannot in good conscience trash a game where you fight a planet sized fat guy who you kill by punching his continent-sized finger so hard the rest of him explodes, I WILL tear to shreds the fact that you need to pay money to get the second half of the game.

Capcom, in their infinite wisdom, thought that releasing a half finished game story would be just fine, and they could release the second half of the story later on.

So what players get if they don't feel like playing along - or worse yet, playing it in a few years from now when Sony shuts down the PS3 online store and takes the true ending with it - is an anti-climactic thud of a cliffhanger ending where you're left utterly unsatisfied.

There are worse ripoffs out there - the rest of this list stands testament to that - but this has stuck in gamer's minds long after the game's release nonetheless.
