3. Behemoth - Monster Hunter World
When you first see the Behemoth in Monster Hunter World, there's a good chance you're actually excited for it to pop up. The beastie originates from Final Fantasy, and as such, it's pretty dang cool to see it crossover in such a spectacular way.
However, the joy may prove short-lived, as the Behemoth is ungodly levels of difficult. Since he's a Final Fantasy creature first and foremost, he can cast a variety of spells, which presents a whole range of issues for anyone trying to take it down.
While they're all pretty annoying, one takes this mission from hard to almost impossible; the Ecliptic Meteor. The move is a one-hit kill, while also covering almost the entire area, meaning if you can't find a safe spot you're out for the count. Better yet, the monster will always use this just before he dies, meaning you can literally be seconds away from victory and still have it grabbed from your fingertips.
On the plus side, since you can only really beat the Behemoth with other players, you at least know that a couple other people will be cursing the beast alongside you.
