Basically, this mysterious San Andreas hoax indicated that if players scoured Back O Beyond or Mt. Chilliad during the night there was a small chance that theyd discover the Sasquatch. So that they did; for months, players searched and searched before finally giving up and arguing that it must be a hoax. And it totally was! Despite the fact that a mod was created years later that wrote the legendary creature into the game, there was never any evidence to support the idea of its original conclusion. But hey, Rockstar have a sense of humour at least. Years later in both the DLC for Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare and a side mission in GTA V, you'll find yourself hunting down multiple Sasquatchs - GTA's one in particular having a hilarious endpoint if you see it all through.
