10 Video Game Items Everyone Hoards (But Never Uses)
7. Ammunition - Dishonored
In Dishonored, you play as a supernatural assassin using his mystic powers and industrial-era weaponry to take down the conspiracy that murdered your beloved empress.
Your gadgets and skills play a vital part in the gameplay, and because you typically only get to buy replenishments for them, like ammunition and mana potions, before a mission, you tend to save them up as much as you can.
However, what most people don’t realize at first (or simply refuse to realize) is that things like bullets, bombs, and arrows can be found in every single location in the game. Not only that, they’re so plentiful, you won’t be able to walk one block without spotting some on a table or strapped to the belt of a patrolling guardsman.
And yet, when you start playing Dishonored, you still cling onto your precious ammunition, thinking that it’s better to not be wasted on a random fight or that perhaps in the next location, it won’t be so easily replenishable.
It’s understandable, given how much restocking on supplies can cost. On the other hand, if you simply start collecting the free ammo littering the world, you wouldn’t have to pay for anything at all.
