10 Video Games With RUTHLESS Online Multiplayer

6. Street Fighter V

Call of Duty Modern Warfare
Capcom

From one fighting game to another, Street Fighter has always been a major fixture in competitive gaming and the fifth entry in the long running franchise is no different. It's taken some time for it to develop into a fully-fledged game, but Capcom's premier fighter remains as tough as ever. Playing the online mode is a challenge in itself, with many players having honed their skills over hundreds of hours to create a gruelling challenge, even if you're well-versed with the genre. It's quite the achievement to reach the heights of the best SFV players.

With unpredictable opponents, the offline modes can never fully train you for what's to come. If you somehow manage to conquer the online gauntlet, the greatest test for any Street Fighter player is the tournament scene, mainly comprised of the Capcom Pro Tour. Many contests occur around the world, with the best players entering the championships through four main methods. You could win an online event, proving your mettle within the wider community, or if you're lucky, you could get voted in to take part by the fanbase. Alternatively if you placed second or won the previous tournament, you're automatically granted a place in the next contest.
