If you don't fancy teaming up with one of the companions to cause mayhem, you can also enlist your friends (or anyone you find online) to help out on your journey. Unlike Far Cry Primal, which only let another player drop into your world for select activities, Far Cry 5 can be played entirely with another person by your side - something fans have been craving for years.

A bit like Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, players will be able to tackle Far Cry 5's activities pretty much any way they want. Unlike that game though, which often stumbled from a lack of focus and an overwhelming amount of freedom, the missions of the this sequel should give players the huge, set-piece story moments to compliment the player-driven emergent gameplay.

Everything is better with friends; especially when you're both on quad bikes storming an enemy camp with an army of bears by your side.
