8. "From The King?"- Kingdom Hearts II

Kingdom Hearts II was the follow-up to the immensely popular original crossover game between the imaginative world of Disney and the high-octane plane of Final Fantasy, and everything the first game did, KH II did far better. With new skills and abilities to use in fights, even more locations from classic Disney movies to explore, and the continuation of the events from the first game, fans were left purring. In typical Final Fantasy fashion, this game ended on a somewhat mysterious note, as after the credits the player is greeted with a small cutscene that had fans confused for years. In the cutscene, the main protagonists, Sora, Riku, and Kairi are back on their home world of Destiny Island, reunited together after the events of two games. While Riku and Sora converse with each other, Kairi runs up to them both with a bottled message in tow, excited to deliver the news. The three look at the bottle to find the mark of King Mickey, and excitedly open the bottle, though its contents aren't revealed to the player. While this cliffhanger as since been resolved, it was still a great way to keep fans interested in the series and try and think of what the letter actually meant.
