One does not have to be the protagonist of the story to be an iconic antihero. Enter the roguish daughter of the Witch of the Wilds: Morrigan.

Encountered particularly early into the franchise debut, Morrigan becomes a companion to the protagonist after the death of many of the Grey Wardens. As the newest member of the order, the player-character must learn to act responsibly and gallantly in his actions as he seeks to destroy the dreaded Blight that has once again ravaged the lands of Ferelden.

Despite aiding in your fight against the evil darkspawn, Morrigan doesn't quite share this moral compass.

Although it is down to the player to decide on, and act out, many of the more evil choices throughout the game, it is always the voice of Morrigan advocating for this outcome. Murder a whole tower of mages because someone summoned some demons instead of trying to save them? Sure. Sacrifice the Arl's wife using blood magic? Why not.

Many fans of the franchise were jumping for joy when the sorceress returned in Dragon Age: Inquisition, but should they have? More often than not Morrigan has shown that she only serves herself. If your needs and hers lineup, then happy days. If not? Start sleeping with one eye open.
