5 Great X-Men Video Games & 5 That Sucked

9. Great - X2: Wolverine's Revenge (Multiple Platforms, 2003)

Wolverine Sabretooth X-Men Legends
Activision

Hugh Jackman will always be Wolverine to many fans, but one can't help but relish Mark Hammil's inclusion as the titular character in X2: Wolverine's Revenge.

A tie-in to the movie that boasted its own original story, Wolverine is unleashed like never before with violently sweet combos and situation-specific combat strikes.

Aside from the basic thugs who you can sneak up and impale, boss battles include encounters with the Sabertooth, Wendigo, Juggernaut, Magneto, and Lady Deathstrike.

Fun collectibles and a decent story — with appearances from other characters like Omega Red, Rogue, and a Patrick Stewart-voiced Charles Xavier, X2: Wolverine's Revenge is definitely one of the finest X-Men games in the archive.
