5. An Overhauled MyGM
WWE2K22's MyGM mode was one of the game's few disappointments, and is something we imagine the developers will be eager to fix in the upcoming release.
MyGM was a vastly watered down version of the WWE2K series' beloved Universe mode, in which players were tasked with booking the company and creating their own version of pro wrestling Valhalla (not to be confused with actual WWE wrestler Valhalla). Universe mode gave players bountiful freedom to create their dream feuds, matches and PPVs and was one of the series' biggest success stories.
MyGM, by contrast, was a case of the developers throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Every change made - such as limiting the number of weeks the player is in charge, and the utterly broken styles clash system - worsened the overall experience, and ensured that MyGM botched harder than Top Dolla attempting a dive over the top rope. Similar to New Coke changing back to regular Coke, the next generation of MyGM will likely be a reversion to what worked before. 2K Games can (and likely will) keep the MyGM label, but as long as it lets us party like it was WWE2K19, we'll be happy.
